Next in the company’s line of new accessories is a highly accurate crossbow scope. The EVO-X Marksman scope is built to maximize performance in both hunting and competitive shooting situations. Designed with today’s high-performance crossbows in mind, the scope is intended for crossbows that shoot between 330 and 450 feet per second. The waterproof scope features a 30-millimeter tube equipped with etched glass reticles and fully multi-coated 1.5 – 6x optics that increase your field-of-view in low-light conditions. The reticle configuration consists of five illuminated duplex crosshairs calibrated for 10-yard increments between 20 and 60 yards, and two non-illuminated chevrons at 70 and 80 yards for competition and recreational shooting. An infinite-position rheostat knob controls the illumination color, either red or green, and the intensity. Many smart extras come with the scope, including quick-detach scope rings, high-quality flip-up lens caps and a bubble level. Click here to learn more about this new, premium crossbow optic.

TenPoint Alpha-Nock and Alpha-Brite Lighted Nock System

Anyone paying attention to the crossbow market in the last few years probably realizes that crossbows have become really narrow, with bow assembly widths now around the 6- to 8-inch mark when cocked. Along with that narrowness, crossbows are also much more powerful, with some shooting in excess of 450 fps. This evolution in crossbow design also calls for an evolution in crossbow arrow and nock design. TenPoint’s new Alpha-Nock is a unique design featuring a deep bowstring channel, a large smooth radius base and elongated ears. The bowstring on TenPoint’s extremely narrow crossbows wraps tightly around the Alpha-Nock to yield straight nock travel and precision downrange accuracy, while minimizing bowstring center serving wear. The Alpha-Nock’s deep channel design increases the string to nock engagement and holds the bowstring in place during the shot, which prevents “shoot-over” or “shoot-under” of the arrow shaft. The Alpha-Nock is also available in a lighted Alpha-Brite version.
